Party Secretary Kong Jie Attended the 11th Vocational School Informatization Conference Teaching Reform and Innovation Development Forum

In order to fully implement the strategic deployment of vocational education and digitalization in the Outline of the Plan for Building a Powerful Nation in Education (2024-2035), the Vocational School Information Technology Teaching Committee of the Ministry of Education held the 11th Vocational School Information Technology Teaching Reform and Innovation Development Forum from May 12th to 14th. Kong Jie, chairman of the Digital Resources Committee of the Information Technology Teaching Committee and secretary of the Party Committee of our college, attended the meeting. Vice President Du Qingbo, Dean Yang Qianhua of the School of Network and Communication, and Dean He Miao of the School of Artificial Intelligence accompanied him.

At the Digital Resources Committee meeting, Vice President Du Qingbo gave the participating members a summary of the work in 2024 and a work plan for 2025. At the meeting, the members expressed their opinions freely on the collection of outstanding cases of curriculum construction and application of the National Vocational Education Smart Education Platform in 2025 and the collection of opinions on the general curriculum standards for artificial intelligence in higher vocational colleges (draft), and made suggestions for the future development of the Digital Resources Committee. Secretary Kong Jie summarized the meeting and clarified the direction and focus of the future work of the special committee.

At the sub-forum on “Digital Leadership of Vocational Colleges”, Secretary Kong Jie was invited to serve as the forum moderator. The invited experts gave presentations on topics such as “Reflections and Practices on AI -led Teaching Reform”, “Implementing New National Professional Teaching Standards and Empowering Vocational Education with Digital Intelligence”, and “Current Status and Challenges of Artificial Intelligence Applications in Vocational Education”, bringing a wonderful event experience to the participants.

At the special forum on “Artificial Intelligence Major and Intelligent Upgrading of Major”, Vice President Du Qingbo was invited to give a special report on Exploration and Practice of Building Artificial Intelligence Professional Clusters, sharing our college’s innovative experience and practical results in building artificial intelligence professional clusters. The report resonated strongly among the participants, and its innovative model and successful experience provided a reference sample for similar institutions.

After the meeting, the Digital Resources Committee will further implement the spirit of the Ministry of Education's strategic action on digital education, focus on the resource construction, application case selection and application promotion of the national vocational education smart education platform, carry out digital resource construction for vocational education, education and teaching model reform, project research, and sharing of high-quality cases, and continue to promote the digital transformation and upgrading of vocational colleges and teaching model reform.
