Secretary of the Party Committee Kong Jie Invited to Participate in the 3rd National Industrial and Information Technology Skills Competition and the New Industrialization Industry-Education Integration Exhibition

From November 26 to 28, at the invitation of the Education and Examination Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Kong Jie, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, went to Chongqing to participate in the 3rd National Industrial and information Technology Skills Competition and the New Industrialization Industry-Education Integration Exhibition held simultaneously. This event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Ministry of Education, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League. During the event, Zhang Yunming, member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and other leaders visited the College's booth. The leaders learned in detail about the College's achievements in industry-education integration, typical cases, and student employment, and paid attention to and provided guidance on the College's related work.

The New Industrialization Industry-Education Integration Exhibition officially opened on November 27. At the opening ceremony, key leaders including Hao Zhiqiang, Director of the Education and Examination Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology; Qiu Yi, Deputy Director of the Teaching Affairs Division of the Vocational and Adult Education Department of the Ministry of Education; and Kong Jie, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, jointly inaugurated the opening ceremony for the New Industrialization Industry-Education Integration Exhibition.

The 3rd National Industrial and Information Technology Skills Competition, themed Industry-Talent Integration, Serving the Country with Skills, concluded successfully on Nov. 28. This competition attracted more than 6,000 participants from across the country, with 408 teams and more than 800 contestants from various regions and central enterprises advancing to the finals. After two days of fierce competition, a total of 24 first prizes, 96 second prizes and 106 third prizes were awarded.

Three teams from the College participated in the finals and performed excellently in this competition. Among them, Guo Jia and Zhang Dong, teachers from the School of Intelligent Manufacturing, won the first prize in the Intelligent Industrial Robot Competition (Staff Group). Students Zhu Jianwen and Jiang Tianci from the School of Intelligent Manufacturing won the second prize in the Intelligent Industrial Robot Competition (Student Group). Teachers Zhang Yaju and Lan Tianwen from the School of Intelligent Transportation won the second prize in the Intelligent Connected NEV Competition (Staff Group).
