NJCIT Successfully Hosts the Academic Exchange Conference on Project Summary of the China Institute of Electronic Labor and the Re-election Meeting of the University–Enterprise Cooperation Special Committee

On April 17, 2026, the Academic Exchange Conference on Project Summary of the China Institute of Electronic Labor and the Re-election Meeting of the University–Enterprise Cooperation Professional Committee, jointly organized by the China Electronics Technology Group Corporation Fourteenth Research Institute and Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology, was successfully held in Nanjing. With the theme of Integrating Science and Education to Strengthen the Foundation, Integrating Industry and Education to Foster New Talent, the conference brought together more than 230 representatives from member organizations, research institutes, leading enterprises, and colleges and universities in the electronic information field to jointly discuss talent training pathways for AI + industry-education integration, promote industry-education collaboration, and plan for innovative development.

Focusing on the core themes of integrating science and education and integrating industry and education, the conference invited Vice President Sun Gang to deliver a keynote report entitled Deepening Industry-Education Integration and Empowering Talent Training. The report systematically shared NJCIT’s reform concepts and highly effective practical approaches in building an industry-education integration community, innovating the model of industrial school, and implementing on-site engineer training, forming typical experience that can be referenced and promoted. The proposed NJCIT Model attracted great attention and recognition from experts, scholars, and peers attending the conference, highlighting NJCIT’s theoretical thinking and leading role in practice in related fields.

After selection by the Institute, NJCIT was appointed as a Deputy Director Member Unit of the School-Enterprise Cooperation Professional Committee of the China Institute of Electronic Labor. This means that NJCIT is deeply embedded in the high-level decision-making and advisory platform for industry-education integration in the national electronic information field, providing an authoritative channel for deeper participation in the formulation of industry standards, policy discussions, and resource integration in the future.

During the conference, a series of major cooperation projects were successfully implemented. At the much-anticipated launch ceremony of the Dianke Workshop project, Vice President Sun Gang participated in the joint launch as one of the representatives of the university. At the subsequent signing session, Director Li Hongchang signed cooperation agreements on site with three major partners, including the China Electronics Technology Group Corporation Fourteenth Research Institute. Qian Xiaodan, Secretary of the Party General Branch of the School of Artificial Intelligence, signed cooperation agreements with the Learning Power platform, Nantong University, Qingdao University, and other parties, marking a solid step forward for NJCIT in expanding the school-enterprise collaborative innovation network and connecting high-quality resources.

On April 18, participating representatives made a special trip to NJCIT’s industry-education integration base for on-site visits and inspections, where they visited the ZTE 5G + Digital Talent Training Base, the Artificial Intelligence Exhibition and Communication Center, the Digital-Intelligence Regional Service Center, and the CQC NJCIT Testing School. NJCIT’s vivid practices and concrete achievements in aligning with industry, deep integration, and collaborative education have provided intuitive and tangible practical references for electronic information institutions nationwide, fully demonstrating NJCIT’s solid results and exemplary role in deepening industry-education integration and serving industry development.

This conference produced remarkable outcomes and forged a broad consensus on development. In the future, NJCIT will continue to give full play to its role as a bridge and link, keep deepening exploration, and focus on cultivating more high-quality technical and skilled talents who meet the requirements of developing new quality productive forces, continuously contributing NJCIT strength to building China into a country strong in education, science and technology, and human resources.
