Characteristics and Advantages

The major of New Energy Vehicle Technology specialty was set up in 2017, and since then, fruitful achievements have been made in major construction, teaching reform, talent training, and scientific research and innovation. This major aims at cultivating automobile engineering technicians and technical automobile maintenance personnel with IT application ability for the intelligent vehicle manufacturing and maintenance industry, and inter-disciplinary technical talents who can engage in the new energy vehicle performance test and detection, quality inspection and technical maintenance services.

The major of New Energy Vehicle Technology has strong strength in faculties. By far, the titles of “Jiangsu Provincial Technical Expert” and “Jiangsu Provincial May 1st Innovation Expert” have been conferred to 7 teaching staff, and 83.3% of the members in the teaching and research office are provincial technical experts. The teachers of this major have won the national and provincial skills competition awards for many times, and there are more two projects supported by the Natural Science Foundation for Jiangsu Higher Education Institutions.

Cooperative Enterprises

This major has established an in-depth school-enterprise cooperative relationship with Beijing Zhongche High Tech Co., Ltd. and is one of the first-batch national training and assessment stations the “1+X Certificates” system in new energy vehicle vocational skills. Through carrying out instruction and training in provincial industries with Nanjing Aolian New Energy Co., Ltd., it does well in industry-teaching-research cooperation, with one project jointly applied by the two sides getting the support of the Natural Science Foundation for Jiangsu Higher Education Institutions. This major also cooperates on teaching materials and teaching plans, faculties, training base and training equipment, daily education management and so on with a number of local high-end brand 4S stores in Nanjing, such as Nanjing Lizhixing Mercedes-Benz 4S Store, Jiangsu Ningbao Automobile Sales Service Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Tianhong Group Cadillac 4S Store, Geely 4S Store, BYD 4S store, etc.
