Good News: Our college was successfully selected for the 2026 "Jiangsu Science Communication" University Spark Science and Technology Museum Demonstration Construction Project

Recently, the Jiangsu Association for Science and Technology (JSAST) issued the Notice on the Approved Projects for the 2026 JAST Jiangsu Science Communication Program. The University Spark Science and Technology Museum Demonstration Construction Project declared by our college was successfully selected for the list of approved projects (3 higher vocational schools were selected).

In recent years, the college has been actively engaged in improving the scientific literacy of the public. By making full use of its internal scientific and educational resources and leveraging popular science bases such as the National Defense Education Hall and CQCTT New Energy Industry Base, it has innovatively established a distinctive popular science work system featuring “military-local synergy, college-local co-construction, museum-station linkage, and industry empowerment”. Leveraging its educational advantages, the college has created distinctive brands in national defense and industrial popular science. It regularly carries out public welfare popular science activities such as research-based study tours, national defense lectures, and science and technology volunteer services. By opening its popular science venues to all sectors of society, the college has continuously expanded the reach and social influence of its popular science initiatives, effectively playing a leading and demonstrative role as a higher education institution in this field.

This project approval is a full recognition of our college's popular science work by the Jiangsu Association for Science and Technology. Next, the college will take the project construction as an opportunity to deepen the construction of the popular science education base. It will improve the venue's exhibitions, curriculum system, volunteer teams, and operational support mechanisms. The college will also explore unique popular science resources, strengthen the educational function of the venue, and continue to provide high-quality popular science services, contributing to the construction of Jiangsu Science Communication and NJCIT's strength to the development of Jiangsu as a leading province in science and technology.
