School of International Education Organizes International Students for a Corporate Visit and Practical Activity at Zollner Electronic (Taicang) Co., Ltd.

To broaden internship and employment channels for international students in China, deepen the internationalized talent cultivation system of industry-education integration, and accurately meet the overseas talent needs of Chinese-funded enterprises, the School of International Education organized a visit and exchange activity for international students at Zollner Electronic (Taicang) Co., Ltd. on July 2. This event aimed to build a bridge for talent connection between the college and the enterprise, comprehensively enhance the effectiveness of cultivating international technical and skilled talents, and contribute to the high-quality development of international student education at our college.

The event began with the person in charge of the company giving a detailed introduction to the company's development history, industrial layout, main business, and corporate culture. They particularly focused on explaining the internship program, covering core aspects such as the training period, job allocation, skills training, living support, and cross-border employment channels. After the presentation, guided by the company's technical specialists, the international students entered the intelligent production workshop for an on-site observation. They visited the SMT automated production line, precision electronics assembly stations, the quality inspection center, and the digital warehousing area. They gained a close-up understanding of the entire production process of high-end electronic products, standardized operating procedures, and the application of intelligent manufacturing technology, and directly experienced the development strength of China's advanced manufacturing industry and the craftsmanship of a modern enterprise. At the end of the visit, a symposium was held for the college and enterprise staff and students. In response to the students' concerns, such as internship position suitability and the application of Chinese in the workplace, the company's human resources team answered questions one by one. They encouraged the students to leverage their bilingual advantages, delve into skills learning, and become outstanding international talents connecting Chinese and foreign technology and cultural exchanges.

This event was highly effective. It provided a new path for localized internships for international students in China, enriched the practical teaching system for them, and promoted collaborative education combining classroom theory + real-world enterprise scenarios. It allowed international students to immersively experience China's industrial development, corporate culture, and workplace environment. At the same time, it also helped the college to accurately meet the talent needs of going global enterprises and further optimize the talent cultivation programs for international students.

Next, the School of International Education will continue to organize similar activities on a regular basis, build more high-quality practical platforms, and help international students in China achieve higher-quality internships and employment.
