Our College’s 2026 Training Program for Administrators and Core Teachers of African Vocational Colleges Concluded Successfully

On July 1, 2026, our college successfully completed the “2025-2026 Training Program for Administrators and Core Teachers of African Vocational Colleges”, which was led by the China Education Association for International Exchange. The 12-day training was jointly organized by the School of Network and Communication, the Department of Basic Courses, and the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation. A total of 22 teacher representatives from Mount Kenya University, a renowned institution of higher learning in Kenya, participated in the training.

This training aimed to enhance the Chinese + Vocational Skills proficiency of teachers in African institutions. It focused on the theme of Enhancing ICT Program Development Capabilities and was conducted online, with content primarily covering practical Chinese, artificial intelligence, and fundamentals of information technology. During the training, trainees and instructors engaged in enthusiastic interactions, actively discussing topics such as Chinese culture, the development prospects of ICT, and the current status of China's cutting-edge industries. This training has effectively enhanced the Chinese language and ICT professional skills of Kenyan teachers, built a stable bridge for international exchange between the school and enterprises, and played a demonstrative and leading role in improving the capabilities of teachers in Africa.
