The 2026 Jiangsu Provincial Vocational School Teacher Quality Improvement Program on Artificial Intelligence and Professional Teaching Reform Capability Enhancement, hosted by our college, successfully commenced

On July 16, 2026, Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology held a grand opening ceremony at Nanjing New Land Hotel for the 2026 Jiangsu Provincial Vocational School Teacher Quality Improvement Program on Artificial Intelligence and Professional Teaching Reform Capability Enhancement, a national-level training program. Sun Gang, Vice President of Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology, He Miao, Dean of the School of Artificial Intelligence, Gu Haihua, Vice Dean, members of the training implementation team and 70 key teachers from various secondary vocational schools across the province attended the opening ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Vice Dean Gu Haihua.

Vice President Sun Gang delivered a speech at the opening ceremony and extended a warm welcome to all trainees. He pointed out that artificial intelligence technology is accelerating its integration into the entire educational process, injecting strong momentum into the high-quality development of education, and promoting the deep integration of AI with professional teaching. He also pointed out that AI technology is a compulsory course for vocational education teachers in the new era. He encouraged all participating teachers to be pioneers of educational reform, to step out of traditional teaching mindsets, and to proactively explore application scenarios for AI in the classroom; to deepen the integration of teaching and practice based on professional expertise to create a replicable and scalable intelligent teaching paradigm; to leverage the exemplary and radiating role of key teachers to drive the overall improvement of regional teaching quality.

As the project leader, Dean He Miao provided a comprehensive and in-depth interpretation of the training program. He stated that industry experts and renowned scholars was invited for this workshop, and a progressive teaching approach of Theoretical Study - Case Analysis - AI Hands-on Practice - Group Co-creation was adopted to bring cutting-edge AI knowledge and practical teaching methods to the participating teachers. He also stated that the college will provide comprehensive services throughout the process to ensure the smooth running of the workshop.

This workshop is highly focused on cultivating core artificial intelligence technologies and practical skills. During the 9-day training, participating teachers will delve into and exchange ideas on the main theme of AI empowering vocational education, covering multiple core topics such as major development and curriculum reconstruction driven by AI, AIGC technology empowering teaching innovation and research practice, and AI-assisted competition guidance, to comprehensively enhance their teaching and professional development capabilities in the era of artificial intelligence. Our college will continue to leverage its resource advantages to help build a high-quality, dual-qualified faculty team that understands technology, excels at integration, and is capable of innovation, thereby injecting new momentum into the high-quality digital development of vocational education in Jiangsu Province.
