Aligning with Industry Frontiers to Empower and Enhance Vocational Education — Our College's Delegation Attends the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference

From July 18 to 19, heads and key representatives from our college's Science and Technology Division, School of Artificial Intelligence, School of Intelligent Transportation, and Digital Construction Center traveled to Shanghai to attend the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference. They participated deeply in the conference forums, observed the core exhibition area, and conducted field research on the latest trends in AI technology and industrial development to broaden their perspectives on industry-education integration.

The participating team collectively studied the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the opening ceremony of the conference, focusing on the four points raised in the speech: upholding openness and win-win cooperation to drive innovative development; strengthen risk awareness to ensure safety and control; encourage inclusiveness and mutual learning among civilizations; advocate for cooperation and concerted efforts to improve global governance. These four points of view have charted the course for the integrated development of artificial intelligence and vocational education.

At the Industrial Technology Innovation Forum, attendees listened to a series of expert reports on cutting-edge topics such as AI-empowered education, human-machine trust, industry digital transformation, and high-level autonomous driving to gain insights into technological trends; At the exhibition, they visited exhibition areas for computing power infrastructure, educational large models, and autonomous driving, learning from the mature solutions of leading enterprises in digital transformation and smart campus construction to accurately grasp the changes in industry technology iteration and talent needs.

This conference was not only an intellectual collision that broadened horizons but also a practical inquiry to connect with the industry. The college will take this as an opportunity to seize the chances brought by technological transformation, explore the path of AI + Vocational Education reform, build scientific research platforms relying on cutting-edge industry resources, and enhance teachers' professional capabilities through the overall improvement of research strength. It will also strengthen its technical service capabilities for enterprises, open up channels for industry-education integration and research-teaching promotion, and focus on cultivating high-quality digital artisans who meet industrial demands, thereby continuously enhancing the college's comprehensive strength through coordinated development of industry and education.
